LEVELLAND (Special) Services for Harold Loyd Arant, 73, of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Vernon officiating.

Burial will follow in City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.

He died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Lubbock. He had been a Hockley County resident most of his life. He married Bernice Swanner on Nov. 25, 1944, in Guarid. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He graduated from the Meat Packers Institute of America. He was a charter member of the Top Farmers of America. He was a farmer in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming. He also operated module trucks and was a member of First Baptist Church in Levelland.

Survivors include his wife; a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, and four grandchildren.
