Died at home at 74y 3m 27d, surrounded by family.
A 1958 graduate of Marietta High School, she worked for Greenleaf Landscapes and was named 1990 Secretary of the Year by the Marietta Chamber of Commerce for being a valued office manager, purchasing agent, personnel director, trusted employee, and friend to her co-workers. She was also the former owner/operator of Town and Country Ceramics in Reno.
She was a member of the Reno Christian Church, R.S.V.P. of Marietta, Clown Club, Ohio Society of Mayflower Descendants, American Legion Auxiliary Post #750, and past member of the Reno Volunteer Fire Department; loved her grandchildren, the outdoors, traveling the United States, especially to Myrtle Beach...and sunflowers!
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Dick Poole was held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 30th, at the Reno Christian Church, followed by a luncheon served by the ladies of the church.
