THE DEATH OF A WIFE FOLLOWED TWO DAYS LATER BY THE AGED HUSBAND OCCURRED THIS WEEK AT HELMSBURG, BROWN COUNTY.
Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Conard, well known here, have resided in their home for many years and both have been feeble for several months. When husband arose Monday morning he did not know that his life long companion had died during the night by his side. Each had passed the four score mark and had lived together for almost 60 years. They have two sons, residents of Monroe County - David Conard, the merchant at Unionville, and Gilbert Conard, a farmer of Salt Creek township.
