Harold T. Conlon, 67, of Fairgrounds Road. Huntingdon, R.D.3, died at 5:05 p.m., Friday, December 13,1974, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past year and had been a patient at the hospital since Wednesday. December 11.
Born on July 13. 1907, in Saxton, R.D., he was a son of the late Silas and Margaret Belle (Krousc) Conlon.
Surviving are the following
children: Floyd A. of Huntingdon, R.D., Harold T., Jr.. of Roaring Spring, R.D. 1, Mrs. Clarence (Mary E.) Knable of Huntingdon, Caroline Jane Allen of New Egypt. N.J. and John W. of Huntingdon.
He was preceded in death by one daughter. Mr. Conlon had 12 grandchildren and one
Mr. Conlon was the last surviving member of his immediate family, having
been preceded in death by
one brother and one sister.
He was of the Protestant faith and belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose. Huntingdon Lodge No. 223, and Mapleton American Legion Home Association.
Mr. Conlon had been employed by the Huntingdon Throwing Company and later by Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp.. where he was associated with the forming department until the time of his retirement in 1972.
He was educated in the Grantsvllle Grade School at Aitch.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 16, at the Brown funeral home, Huntingdon. The Rev. Amos E. Hommel will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday and until the hour of the services on Monday.
