Samuel Ray Hatton, 80, of Irvine, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at his home
following a long illness. He was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Jessamine County and
was the son of the late Merrill and Julie Puckett Hatton. He was a retired
Bluegrass Army Depot employee and a former employee of H & H Fuel. He was a
member of the Hargett Church of God and had lived in Estill County most of his
life. He was a United States Ari Force veteran of Would War II. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Powell Hatton; and several half-brothers
and half-sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Valerie William of Richmond, Magnolia Rawlins
and Madeline Morris, both of Winchester; a half-sister, Loredia West of Paris;
six grandchildren, Tammy York, Shelly Arvin, Shannon Morris, Jason Rawlins, Dale
Wise and Adrenna Williams; give great-grandchildren, Coleman Arvin, Samantha
Arvin, Reagan Rawlins, Christopher Wise and Joseph York.

Funeral services were at the White Oak Church of God by Bro. Larry Frymyer and
Bro. Henry Johnson. Burial was at the Dunaway Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dale
Wise, Jason Rawlins, Joe York, Bobby Arvin, Coleman Arvin, and Bo Morris.
Honorary pallbearers were Glen Rawlins and Lloyd Wiseman.
