Cartoon Animator. He was an animator for Walt Disney and known as the first of Disney's 9 old men, the key animators. He worked for Disney for 48 years until his retirement in 1976. He was Mickey Mouse's animator in the debut film Steamboat Willie. He animated or directed over 20 films for Disney including Pinocchio, Dumbo, 101 Dalmations, Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp.
