Clifford Bingaman Of Neoga Dies
Clifford Bingaman, 61, a retired Neoga vicinity farmer, died Thursday afternoon in his home after a two-year illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Neoga Presbyterian Church, Rev. James L. Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Hill cemetery. The body is at the Swengel funeral home in Neoga. Mr. Bingaman was born near Neoga Nov. 16, 1892, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bingaman. He is survived by his wife, the former Winifred Buchanan. Mr. Bingaman is also survived by a son, Miles, Mattoon; one grandchild, four step-grandchildren, two brothers, Walter and Nelson, both of Neoga, and three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Janes and Mrs. William Green, both of Mattoon, and Mrs. Carl Richardson, Neoga.
