Cecil Franklin Goble son of Merton and Katherine Dunlavy Goble. AKA Frank M Dunlavy, Merton Franklin Dunlavy, "Mickey" Dunlavy.
Frank or Mickey as he liked to be called left the army without leave, changed his name and lived in Phoenix Arizona for a time. He was a "boss" over migrant workers in the orchards surrounding this cemetery.
Frank lost his mother at age 2 and his father at age 10 and times were hard for him and his siblings. The relatives that took them in were struggling to support their own families so Frank and his siblings all felt they had to fend for themselves at a young age. Frank left home in his early teens and rode the rails at least as far as Florida and British Columbia Canada, and he carried a jug and his guitar everywhere he went.
When he married Alma they managed a restaurant "Dunlavy's Cafe" in downtown Phoenix. He made his Alma pack a pistol when she made the deposits. He sported a mustache. When Alma told him she was pregnant he left her, he didn't want to be a father. Alma cried when her brother came to tell her Frank was dead even though they had separated 10 years before. His body was found by a railroad track in Tucson Arizona. Some said he was pushed off the train, others say he fell off. His son heard he was stabbed then thrown off.
We believe Frank was in Phoenix in 1933 where he had a relationship with Electa Mable Rowen. She bore a son named Danny Ray Rowen in Jun 1934 and named Frank Dunlavy his father.
While here in Suisun Valley he was a hard worker and the people he worked for had his body brought back here and buried in their family plot.
