New York, USA
|Death: ||Sep. 20, 1836|
Probably born in New York, Ephraim was
the son of William Church (Sr). The two markers are placed back to back and are
likely footstones, while the headstone is
in another location at the cemetery. The insriptions read; 'E. Church' and 'M. Church'
(M. Church is his wife, Mary (Owens) Church). Ephraim's will is dated Aug. 6, 1835 and was submitted for probate in Richland Co. Ohio on Nov. 16, 1836 by his brother-in-law, Samuel Gibeney. Ephraim was the brother of my 3-grts. grandmother Pool. Information received indicates that burials in this section of the cemetery were moved from an older cemetery.
