ST. GEORGE, Utah - Reva Karlson Thornock Kearl,was born in Parker, Idaho, to Louis E. Karlson and Leah Haight Karlson.
She married DeLos Seymour Thornock on Nov. 2, 1935, in Pocatello, Idaho, and they were sealed in the Logan, Utah Temple on June 19, 1936. Together, they had two daughters, Sharon Dee and Rene'. DeLos passed away July 14, 1955. Reva later married Allison Kearl in Blackfoot, Idaho, on June 5, 1959, and moved to Laketown, Utah. Allison passed away July 3, 1990.
Her meticulous home was a welcome gathering place for friends and family. She attended Franklin Junior High and Pocatello High School in Pocatello, Idaho, where she lettered in basketball.
an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and willingly accepted many callings. She was the president of the PTA and a leader in the Camp Fire Girls Association.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Dee (Dave) Schutte, of St. George, Utah, and ReneÇ (Robert) Earley, of Laketown, Utah; stepdaughter, Aileen (David) Stokes, of Ogden, Utah; two sisters, Grace Cullen, of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Vilma Hippack, of Santa Clara, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
