A. B. Joyce, 91, Green Ridge, died Tuesday at Bothwell Reginal Health Center.
He was born Jan. 21, 1894, in Model, Tenn., son of James Lacy and Tenie Cook Joyce. On Dec 25, 1927, in Golden Pond, KY, he married Bertha Darnall, who survivies of the home.
Mr. Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a landscaper for a nursery and an Army veteran of World War I serving in the artillery.
Other survivors include a son, Pete Joyce, Green Ridge; five daughters, Vera Nell Bufmack, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Betty Marie Barrett, Clearwater, Fla.; Junita Lorene Williams, Colorado Springs, Colo.' Genevieve Patricia Kopp, Carson, Calif.; Mary Elaine Frasher, Grandview, Mo.; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parks Chapel Cemetery, Henry County, with Dr. Melvin Hill, Jr. officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
