Mrs. Louise Steggell, 60, of Delmar and a former Waterloo resident, died Saturday of complications of a heart attack and stroke.

She was born March 27, 1907, at Maynard, Fayette Co. Iowa the daughter of Albert and Ethel Meikle Hoth. She married Paul Addison Jacoby, June 10, 1923 in Oelwein, Iowa, they had 7 daughters. Paul and Lousie divorced in 1940. She then married Robert Steggell in July 29, 1940 in Dubuque.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ted (Katherine) Mienders, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Joe (Betty) Sauer,Waterloo, Mrs. Pauline Closson, , Waterloo; Mrs Jack (Ethel)Wentworth,Waterloo.; Mrs. Robert (Connie) Gill Delmar; Mrs. O.W.(Dorothy) Sheetz Cedar Rapids, two sisters, Mrs. Vere Yambert, Long Beach, California; Mrs. Thomas McKieren, Norco, California.; to brothers Donald Hoth Lamont, and William of Oelwein and 22 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, one brother and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. M.W. Bergmann officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein, Iowa.
