Mary delighted in her many friendships and will be long remembered for her out-going nature which led her to leadership positions in many organizations. She was a member, and past regent of the Col. Andrew Lynn Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member, Worthy Matron, and Secretary of Laurette Chapter 178, O. E. S., past Deputy Grand Matron of the Pennsylvania Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She served on the Board of the National Capital Area Women's Auxiliary of The Salvation Army and was an elder in the Wheaton Presbyterian Church, Silver Spring, MD.
