|Birth: ||Sep., 1832|
|Death: ||Mar. 29, 1922|
David's parents were Charles and Rachel (Porter) Mc Clain. They had 11 children. David was the 3rd oldest.
Martha McClain Harrison was a sister of David.
David & Phebe were the parents of Hettie, Lewis, Ella, Will and Sadie.
Hettie married John Golding, a great granduncle of mine.
Sadie married someone named Richard White. David McClain is in their house in Arkansas. I found no IL marriage record for her to any White...I did find one to a Burnham but don't know if same Sadie.
David served in the Civil War and applied for a pension for his service in the 51st and 147th regiments.
