Christopher was deeded property in the Ohio River Survey on April 5,
1822. He obtained through a land patent, Section 22, TWP 11N, Range 4W,
80 acres. The land or his address at the time was Steubenville,
Jefferson Cty, OH.

He was a Hessian soldier who stayed in Loudoun Cty, VA after the
Revolutionary War. He married Rosina there. Then moved to Jefferson Cty, OH
in about 1814. he escaped from the British
Army. He and Rosina were members
of the German Reformed Church and are buried in the cemetery not far
from their farm near Amsterdam, OH
