Agnes M. Tweedlie Stewart, 88, formerly of Grant Ave., of Dora M. Allietta Memorial Home, 8th St., Moundsville, died today, April 10, 1999, at the Memorial Home. Born October 16, 1910, in Glasgow, Scotland. Daughter of Robert Joseph and Agnes Kane Tweedlie. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Moundsville. She was retired from U.S. Stamping, Inc. with 50 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stewart, Sr., in 1993; one son, Frank Jr., in 1998; seven brothers; two sisters.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dean (Nancy) Wilson of Moundsville and Sandra Springfield of Gresham, S.C.; one sister Mrs. Charles (Katherine) Beatty of Moundsville; one brother, Joseph Tweedlie of Moundsville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Friends received at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1109 2nd St., Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Devotions 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Church with Rev. Father Albert Driesch as celebrant. Interment at Mt. Rose Cemetery.
