Orpha C. Hoffman, 82, of 523 North Second Street, Halifax, PA, died Saturday, September 21, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA.
Born November 18, 1919 in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Alda (Arnold) Corsnitz.
She graduated from Halifax High School; was a housewife; was a member of Halifax United Methodist Church, Halifax; member of the Civilian Air Patrol during World War II; sang in the church choir; served as literature secretary at the church; and was a member of the adult Sunday School class.
Surviving are her husband, Loraine E. Hoffman; son, Dallis Hoffman of Halifax; brother, William Corsnitz of Duncannon; sister, Freda Hoffman of Halifax; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Religious service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., at Reinhard Funeral Home, with Rev. George W. Barto III, officiating. Burial will be in Long's Cemetery, Halifax.
