Robert G. Trammell
Robert G. Trammell, 73, of Parsons died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at his home. He had been in failing health for two years. He was born April 20, 1932, in Parsons to Verle E. and Inez (Buddenhagen) Trammell. He graduated from Parsons High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed at Kansas Army Ammunition Plant as a painter until his retirement. He attended Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Kuffler of Wichita and Cindy Perry of Muskogee, Okla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Trammell and Don Trammell; and a sister, Billie Dessenberger. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home with the Rev. Peggy Hillmon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery with military honors given by Brown-Bishop Post No. 704, Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas or to American Cancer Society may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
