Departed on Sep. 14, 2012 and resided in Athens, TN.
Bonnie Marie Graves Welton, 81, of Athens, Tennessee and formerly of Battle Creek, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A native of Manton, Michigan, she was a resident of Athens, Tennessee for the past four years. Bonnie retired from Harper Creek Community Schools.
A daughter of the late Harold and Vera (McArthur) Graves, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gordon Welton and a brother, Francis Graves.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Richard) Swafford of Athens, Tennessee, Mary (Tim) Grammar of Morris, Oklahoma; sons, Larry Welton of Battle Creek, Casey Welton of East Leroy, Rocky (Ruth Ann) Welton and Bob (Diane) Welton, all of Morris, Oklahoma; sisters, Lola (Cliff) Carnahan and Loretta Carnahan, all of Mesick, Michigan; brother, Raymond (Shelly) Graves of Muskegon; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services took place Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Manton, Michigan.
The family was served by the Shaw Funeral Home.
