Darthea D. Boss-Kerekes, 96, of Clinton, formerly of Holland Township, died Thursday, July 29, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.
Born Nov. 18, 1902, in Frenchtown, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Frederick H. and Jennie C. Vought Decker.
She was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of the Milford Women's Club; Union Township Historical Society; The Clinton Seniors Citizen's Group; Hickory Grange No. 133 and a member of the Union Township Senior Citizen's Group. She was also the last living charter member of the Orion Chapter No. 17777, O.E.S., Frenchtown.
She was a graduate of Temple University with a degree in domestic science.
She was an avid gardener.
Two husbands, Nelson R. Boss Sr., and Emery B. Kerekes, both died earlier.
She is survived by two sons, Nelson R. Boss, Jr. and Henry D. Boss, both of Holland Township; a daughter, Jeanne Boss Dalrymple of Holland Township; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Eastern Star Services will be held at noon Saturday in the W. E. Johnson Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Clinton Presbyterian Church, Center Street, Clinton. Call 1:30 until time of services in the church.
Burial will be in the Milford Union cemetery.
