Clarence Melcher, town of Algoma, died Sunday evening at 6:30 o'clock, after an illness of ten days with pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, one son, William, and one daughter, June, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Melcher of the town of Algoma, and one sister, Mrs. William Kiel of Detroit. Mr. Melcher was born July 29, 1887, in the town of Algoma. He was married to Miss Jessie Bradley June 23, 1909, and since that time had lived in the town of Algoma.

The funeral of Clarence Melcher was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from his home in the town of Algoma. The services were in charge of Rev. Eugene G. Mintz. The pallbearers were Byron Owens, Lloyd Jones, Herbert Pierce, Ray Sheppard, John Rasch and Roy Okrueg. The services were largely attended and the many floral offerings received were a testimonial of the esteem of which Mr. Melcher was held. Interment was in the Omro Junction cemetery. Several out of town relatives were in attendance at the funeral.
