Major League Baseball Player. He played nine years in the major leagues as a left-handed pitcher. Jones played with the Chicago Cubs for seven years (1920 to 1922, 1925 to 1928), and finished up with the Boston Braves (1929) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1930).
