Mr. Collins died at 7 a.m. Saturday in an automobile accident in Graves County.
He was a retired electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' Local No. 816. An Air Force veteran, he was a member of Kentucky Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1084. He was also a member of Briensburg Masonic Lodge No. 401 and the Eastern Star.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Jacques Collins; one son, William Lee Collins II of Benton; one grandson, William Lee Collins III of Benton; one sister, Jerline Curling of Benton; and one brother, Louis Collins of Benton.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda J. Collins, and one sister. His parents were Louis Lawrence Collins and Edna Earl Newton Collins.
