Born July 8, 1945 to Harry T. and Maxine (Keck)Kelley.
He was single, a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School 1963 and Williamson Trade School where he trained as an electronics technician. He enlisted in the ARMY July 1966.
At age 22, Fred Allan Kelley was killed in hostile fire by an explosive device in Republic of Vietman(South Vietnam). Military Region 1 - Quang Ngai

First Vietnam casualty from Duncansville. Killed driving a tank in support of ground troops when it struck a land mine in South Vietnam. Was in Vietnam since February, 1967.
He was survived by his parents, five brothers, Robert of Altoona, Ralph of Norfolk, VA, Donald of McGuire Air Force Base, NJ, Timothy and Daryle, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Marlene Allison of Martinsburg, Mrs. Nancy Yeckley of New Holland and Sharon at home; his grandmothers, Mrs Orphra Keck of Blain and Mrs. Edith Kelley of Hollidaysburg.
