James [Jim] Allison, 86, a long time Ashton resident died on December 21 of cancer. He was born in Twin Groves and married Sarah Call of St. Anthony in 1926. During the 1930s he was marshall for the city of Ashton and later worked as a timber contractor. They had eight children — Lynn and Clair live in Ashton, Darren in San Diego, Laura in Garland, Texas, Marie in Clearfield, UT, Jane in Las Vegas. Two sons preceded him in death — Wayne and Jimmy.
