Turon - Lloyd S. Allison, 79, died Wednesday at Mennonite Friendship Manor, South Hutchinson, after a short illness. Born March 23, 1902, at Sylvia, he married Charlotte Edwards June 17, 1939, at Hutchinson. She died June 2, 1969. He was a heavy equipment operator for Reno County and had been a resident of Reno County for 40 years.
He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors: son, Dennis, 4302 Pagoda, Hutchinson; daughter, Janice Chambers, 504 South Walnut, South Hutchinson; Seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Turon Christian Church; the Rev. Russell Fincham. Burial at Turon Cemetery. Friends may call all day Friday and until service time Saturday at the Foulk Funeral Home, Turon.
