Known as "Anna" or "Hannah," she was the wife of farmer George C. Adam Sack. They settled in Gardenville, on the Belair Road.
They came from Freilitsch, Bavaria, in 1853 with four sons: George N. C. Sack, Karl Sack, Theodore Friedrich Ernest Sack, and John Friedrich Marcus Sack. George, T. F. Ernest, and John F. M. Sack all became carpenters and builders; Karl Sack moved west to Laclede County, Missouri, where he worked as a wheelwright.
