Before assuming the pastorate of the Burlington Church, he served as pastor of St. Paul's Baptist Chruch in Florence NJ for 20 years.
Mr. Wright, a Mason, served as advisor of youth groups in Burlington for many years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Association, Ministers Conference of Philadelphia and Burlington County Chapter NAACP.
He is survived by his wife, Susie; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Johnson and Mrs. Mary O'Farrow, both of Burlington, four sisters, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday in the Second Baptist Church.
