Jacob "Jake" Fudge was the 2nd child born to George P. Fudge and Angeline Jones Fudge
He married Sarah Harris on July 8, 1886 in Greenwood County, KS
Jacob J. Fudge
Jacob J. Fudge was born near Chariton, Iowa August 22, 1866, and died at Piedmont, Kansas, June 12, 1915, aged 48 years, 9 months and 21 days.
At he age of 13 years he came with his parents to reside on a farm northeast of Severy, near which place and at Piedmont. Most of his life has been spent. He was married to Sarah Harris July 8, 1886. He leaves a son, Oliver of Chanute Kansas, his aged mother at Piedmont, four brothers, Mory, of Timber Lake, South Dakota, William D., of Augusta, George and Lawrence of Piedmont, three sisters, Mrs. J.M. Love of Piedmont, Mrs. W.J. Templeton of Hutchinson, and Mrs. Ernest Copeland of Ruth, Nevada, all of whom were at his bedside during his illness except the two who lived so far away.
He made a confession of Christ a few days before his death.
"He giveth His beloved rest."
Funeral at Piedmont Sunday afternoon June 13, Interment in Twin Grove Cemetery at Severy, Kansas.
