Jean passed away peacefully while at Riverside Convalescent Hospital in Chico. She was the wife of Vartkes "Vart" Vartabedian who passed away 7 months later on February 20, 2008. They are buried together and are again together for eternity. She was a great mother and grandmother.
Jean worked at various jobs while being a wife and mother. She was a bank teller at Crocker-Citizens National Bank at Second and Broadway. She worked for a while for Chico News, a magazine distibution company. She later worked for and retired from the Butte County Tax Assessor's Office - all while raising four kids and doing bookkeeping for her husband's business - CASH CLEANERS.
She was active with the Eagles Auxillary, 218, and was a member of the Business and Profession Women.
