HORRIGAN, BERNARD THOMAS, 85, of Largo, died Monday (Sept. 15, 2003) at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. He was born in North Adams, Mass., and came here in 1983. He worked 35 years for the former Mohawk Beverage Co., Pittsfield, Mass., and retired in 1978 as sales manager. He worked an additional five years in outside sales for Liberty Liquors Co. in Holyoke, Mass. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and was a member of the occupation forces in Japan. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Lodge 487, Moose Lodge 240, North Adams Rotary Club, Dr. George L. Curran Post 996 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Frank R. Stiles Post 125 American Legion, all of North Adams. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth; a son, Bernard Thomas II, Burnt Hills, N.Y.; a sister, Madeline Bennett, Williamstown, Mass.; and two grandchildren.
