"Illness Is Fatal to Mrs. Tobias,"
Mrs. Olive Rachel Tobias, a resident of Canadian county for many years, died Sunday morning at the home of a son, Clarence E. Tobias, 204 North Macomb, with whom she had lived for the past several years. Mrs. Tobias was born October 28, 1855 in Jennings county, Ind. and came to Canadian county in 1889 from Clark county, Kan. She homesteaded northwest of Yukon until 1909 when the family moved to Perry, and came to El Reno to make her home with her son in 1949. She was a member of the Perry Presbyterian church. Survivors, in addition to the son, include 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Presbyterian church at Perry and burial will be in the Grace Hill cemetery at Perry under the direction of the Wilson funeral home.
