Funeral services were held Monday at 1 PM for Joseph Olorenshaw in the Lago Chapel with Bishop Elvin Meacham conducting as follows:
Organ prelude by Mrs. Edsell Prescott; invocation by Guy Harris; quartet by Mickelson Brothers and company, "O My Father," tribute, Vernon Mendenhall; duet, "Unanswered Yet," by Norman Ruud and Franklin Mickelson; tribute, Michael Mickelson; closing remarks, Bishop Elvin Meacham, duet, "Whispering Hope," benediction by Melvin Mickelson.
Interment was made in the Lago cemetery by the Webb mortuary of Preston, Idaho.
Grandsons served as pall bearers and flowers were carried by LDS girls under the direction of the Lago Ward Relief Society.
Joseph Olorenshaw, 81, died in a Pocatello hospital early Friday Morning after an operation.
He was born March 6, 1870, at Coventry England, a son of Timothy and Sarah Nichols Olorenshaw. He came to Salt Lake City when nine years old and moved to Grace, Idaho in 1900. In 1911, he moved to Lago, Idaho where he was engaged in farming. He married Helmer Mickelson Dec. 30, 1899, at Salt Lake City. Surviving are his widow; a son and daughter; James T Olorenshaw, Lago, and Mrs. Ora Lena O. Sorensen Panter, Pocatello; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Taylor and Mrs. Jane Rowe, Salt Lake City.
