LARGE FAMILY REUNION.
A New Years Gathering at Daniel Shutts's.
A large family reunion was held at Daniel Shutts's at Tinton Falls yesterday. The old folks chatted about old times, the middle-aged folks talked about the future, and the young folks played games. About one o'clock dinner was served and this proved to be the best feature of the reunion.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Magee, Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Lesch, Fred and Eugene Magee, Charles Armstrong, Ward VanDerveer, Leroy and Suzanna Shutts, Mary Louise Lesch, Carl Soffel, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob C. Shutts and Horatio Shutts of Red Bank; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Shutts, Jr., of Asbury Park; Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Armstrong, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Shutts, Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Borden and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Soffel of Shrewsbury; Miss Cora Shutts of Tinton Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cubberley of Long Branch, and Mr. and Mrs. William Walling of Phalanx.

DANIEL SHUTTS DEAD
TINTON FALLS FARMER WAS SICK ONLY A SHORT TIME
Brother of Jacob C. and Horatio Shutts of Red Bank Passed Away Thursday Morning - Many Attended Funeral Which was Held Last Saturday.
Daniel H. Shutts of Tinton Falls, brother of Jacob C. and Horatio Shutts of Red Bank, died early last Thursday morning. Death was caused by heart disease with which Mr. Shutts was sick only a short time. On Saturday previous to his death Mr. Shutts was at Red Bank on a shopping trip.
Mr. Shutts was born 77 years ago in Marlboro Township(?), and was a son of David and Lydia Shutts. His birthday occurred last Wednesday. For the past forty years he had lived at Tinton Falls, where he had engaged in farming. The past few years on account of his advanced age he had led a retired life. He was one of the most successful farmers in this section.
Mr. Shutts was a widower, his wife having died seven years ago. He leaves five daughters and two sons, Mrs. Eugene Magee, Mrs. David I. Vanderveer, and Mrs. D. Clarence Walling of Red Bank; Mrs. Aaron Armstrong of Shrewsbury, Arthur Shutts of Tinton Falls, Daniel H. Shutts, Jr., of Asbury Park and Miss Cora Shutts, who lives at home. Mr. Shutts also leaves a sister, Mrs. Ella Miller of Trenton.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the house and was conducted by Rev. Frank Moore of Camden. Mr. Shutts had a wide circle of friends and acquaintences and the house was filled with those who came to pay their last respects. The burial was in the Presbyterian cemetery at Shrewsbury.
