Grandfather of my husband, Dennis Brown.
George, the son of William Perry & Charity Elizabeth (Crim) Brown, was born in Rushville, IN. This was also the birth place of his sister, Cora May. They moved west and lived in Fairmont, Nebraska, where another sister, Lola Belle, was born on May 5, 1888. Around the last part of 1889 they moved to Centralia, Washington. His father died on Jan. 11, 1889, shortly after they arrived.
George married Edna Lee Smith in Centralia on July 1, 1906. They had a double wedding. Edna's sister, Grace, was married to Guy Cooper.
More about George & Edna's life can be found on Edna's memorial.
