CAMDEN — Marguerite C.
Finch, 91, of Union Street, died
Tuesday at a Camden nursing
home after a long illness.
A native of Florence, Mrs. Finch
resided most of her life in Camden.
She was a graduate of Camden
High School and attended the Oswego
Normal School, now the
State University College at Oswego.
Her husband, William Finch, died in 1973.
Mrs. Finch was an elementary
school teacher for more than 40
years. She retired in 1958 from the
Rome Public School.
She was a member of Trinity
Episcopal Church, Camden, its
Ladies Guild, the New York State
Retired Teachers Association, the
auxiliary of the Camden Post of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the
Camden Senior Citizens.
Surviving are three sons, Clifford,
of Bernhards Bay, Floyd, of
Camden, and Howard, of Constantia;
a sister, Mildred Quinn of Enon,
Ohio; six grandchildren and two
Services were to be today (Sept.
25) in Trinity Episcopal Church,
the Rev. Robert C. Ayers officiating.
Burial was to be in St. John's
Contributions may he made to
the Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial
Home was in charge of arrangements.
