ALBION - E. Normen Anderson, 79, of Albion, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion with the Elder Adrian Atkins and Elder Dennis Berlin officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Petersburg.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born Aug. 21, 1924, to Gustav and Katherine "Katie" (Blum) Anderson on a family farm east of Petersburg. He attended school up to the eighth grade at Boone County School District 73 and two years of high school at Boone County School District 57. He graduated from Platte Valley Academy in Sheldon in 1942.
He married Alice Surdahl on Aug. 26, 1962, in Bozeman, Mont. They lived and farmed on the family farm east of Petersburg. He raised dairy cattle and loved his dogs. They also enjoyed traveling.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Advent Church in Albion.
Survivors include his wife of Albion; two children Joelyn (Stephen) Tucker of Shawnee, Kan., and Milan Anderson of Lincoln; two granddaughters; and one
brother Marvin (Helen) Anderson of Gentry, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Delmar; sister-in-law Rose; and brother-in-law Kenneth Nelson.
