News article about Isabel's 95th year states that sometime between 1843 and 1848 the James moved ther family from Tennessee to Missouri. This must have been the Spring of 1846, because that's when the term woud have expired for his Consable Duties. In 1846, two daughters died in Gentry County, Missouri. In the 1850 census they ae living in Gentry County and Emily Jane is living at home.
