TERRE HAUTE — Wade Alan Driggers, 27, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday morning, May 13, 2007, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born Feb. 21, 1980, to Lloyd "Dee" Driggers and Priscilla Bell Driggers. He was employed as a machine operator at S & G Excavating Materials plant.
Survivors include his wife of four years, Stephanie Eller Driggers; a one-month-old son, Dane Alan Driggers, at home; his parents of Terre Haute; his in-laws, John and Carla Eller of Terre Haute; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sarah and Aaron Gadberry of Terre Haute; brother-in-law, Matthew Eller of Terre Haute; nephew, Ian Gadberry of Terre Haute; niece, Hannah Gadberry of Terre Haute; grandparents, Joan and Leon Taylor, of Terre Haute; Rose Marie Criss of Reelsville; aunts and uncles, Linda Bell of Brazil, Nancy and Rick Patrick of Seymour, Doris and Monte Fisher of Terre Haute, Liz and Paul Gummere of The Villages, Fla.; cousins, Danielle and Jason Revere, Joni Fisher, and George Fisher, all of Terre Haute, Rikki, Patrick and Braden McGuire, all of Sellersburg, Derek and Kara Patrick, Whitney Patrick and Darin Patrick, all of Seymour, Dustin Patrick of Vista, Calif., Christopher, Wendy, Jared and Leah Gummere, all of Pensacola, Fla., Dan, Angie, Hope and Ben Gummere, all of Bloomington, Toni and John Collier, both of Franklin, Rachelle Gummere of Indianapolis; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George A. Bell; grandmother and grandfather, Frances and Sam Driggers; and great-grandmother, Doris "Nana" Swaggerty.
He was a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and had attended Indiana State University and Ivy Tech Community College.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with Jack Fox delivering the eulogy. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery
