|Death: ||May 28, 1975|
Jonathan and Victoria, 7- and 5-year-old siblings, disappeared along with their mother, Patricia Allen, from their home in Salcombe, United Kingdom on May 28, 1975. Patricia never contacted her relatives and did not take any clothes, passports, or money with her when she can her children disappeared, though her bank account contained several hundred pounds from the sale of a business. Her husband and the children's father, Anthony John Allen, said Patricia took the children and left him after an argument. He never reported his family missing. He was arrested shortly after their disappearances were discovered, but freed for lack of evidence.
In 2002, Anthony was arrested again and put on trial for the murders of Patricia, Jonathan, and Victoria, whose bodies were never found. He was having an affair at the time his family vanished and prosecutors say he wanted to get rid of them. He was convicted at age 68, and will be in prison for the rest of his life.
