Chief Petty Officer Harold E. Castle
Funeral services were held at Kilmichael Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, for Chief Petty Officer Harold E. Castle, who was 69 years old. He was a member of Kilmichael Baptist Church, and was retired from the United States Navy after serving 20 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
The Rev. A.L. Hatten officiated with burial in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael with full military rites.
Chief Petty Officer Castle died Thursday, January 17, 1991, at Kilmichael Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Millie Lyttaker Castle of Kilmichael; one son, Larry Castle of Kilmichael; and two grandchildren.
The United States Navy Honor Guard were pallbearers.
Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
