Mary Beanblossom, 75, of 152 Pence Street, East Alton, died at 1:37 a.m. today at st. Joseph's Hospital following a six-year illness.

A daughter of George and Emma Vickroy Nelson, she was born in Pearl on March 29, 1905.

She was married to George T Beanblossom in Edwardsville on Dec 8, 1927. He died on Jan. 27, 1975.

Surviving are sisters Mrs. Mabel Wheeler and Mrs. Mae Talkington, both of Pearl.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday and until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Pond Cemetery, Pearl.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society are suggested.
