Billy A. Crenshaw, 78, died Nov. 27, 2004 in his home after a long illness. He was born April 18, 1926, in Couch, MO, the son of Joseph and Maude (Holman) Crenshaw. On June 11, 1960, Billy was united in marriage to Bernice Andekian in Waukegan, IL.
He was employed with Racine Steel Castings, retiring as a supervisor in 1988.
He served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II and again during the Korean Conflict.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and bowling.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice; his children, David Crenshaw of Racine, WI; Kathy (and Art) Dulan of Palatine, IL; Gloria (and Ken) Taylor of Racine, WI; Dorothy (and Brad) Ferguson of St. Cloud, MN; William (and Chris) Crenshaw of Racine, WI; and Joseph (and Debbie) Crenshaw of Racine, WI. He is further survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty (and Arland) Pauli of East Moline, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
The funeral service was Dec. 1, 2004, in the chapel of the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in the town of Dover followed by full military honors.
