Earl lived all but 4 years of his life in Goodland. (He spent 4 years in Wichita.) He operted the Hardgraves machine and welding shop for 28 years. He was a faithful member of the Wesleyan church and attended services as long as his health permitted. He married Gladys (Jordan) Gordon in 1950. He was survived by his wife, Gladys, stepdaughter Nrs Nellie Forsthe of Bellpre, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs Hazel Sonnenberg of Garden City and Mrs Blance Mcadams of Goodland and one brother Everett of Goodland.
