Note that the Calumet Region mentioned in her 1st obit refers to northwest part of northern Indiana in Lake County, with towns of Crown Point, Hammond, Gary, Merrillville, Schererville, Hobart, etc. So it appears that Ella Nesbit moved from Pennsylvania to Lake County, Indiana about 1940.

Ella's daughter Stella married Jesse B. Tauber in 1909 in McKeesport, PA, Allegheny County, and their son Joe Tauber (b. Feb. 18, 1918 in PA, died July 14, 1971, Dyer, IN, Lake County but lived in Griffith, IN) married my mother's 1st cousin- June Irene [Adams] Tauber Griffith (died June 2012). They had 2 sons- Jesse Tauber and James Garfield "Gary" Tauber, both still living. Ella Jordan Nesbitt is buried in the same cemetery as her daughter Stella Nesbit Tauber.
