Myra Sue McDole, 55, passed away Oct. 4, 2007, at her home in Missoula. She was born Feb. 23, 1952, to James and Mildred McDole in Kalamazoo, Mich. She served in the U.S. Army, on active duty and as a reservist for 17 years and was an honorary military chaplain in Eureka.
She graduated from FCC with an associate degree in human services, working in geriatrics. She spoke often of time spent working at the Vet Clinic with Dr. Colton and Dr. Esch. More recently, Ms. McDole thrived on camping and spending time with her friends at the Montana Club.
Sue was very thankful to all her physicians for their tremendous care and humor, especially Dr. Kevin Sheehan, Dr. Williamson, Dr. Ann Corsi and Dr. Lemire. Partners Hospice played an invaluable role in friendships and comfort as well.
Sue is survived by Marcia McLane, her significant other; brothers Ronald (Nancy) and Boyce McDole; sisters Cookie Haidle (Robin), Lynne Holt and Sandra Truax (Don), 12 nieces and nephews, and seven grandnieces and grandnephews.
Preceding Sue in death were her mother, Mildred McDole and brother, James Ray.
Memorials may be made in Sue's name to Partners Hospice, 2687 Palmer, Ste B, Missoula, 59808.
A military service in Eureka is pending.
