Clement Heaps Dies in Pgh. Services Sunday
Clement Heaps, 52, a well known life long resident of Drurys Run and North Bend died Thursday, September 17 in Saint Margaret's Hospital, Pittsburgh where he had been a patient recently.
He was the son of the late Samuel and Dolly Hauck Heaps of Drurys Run. He was born here and well known throughout the community. His sister Mrs. Harvey (Loretta) Eaton of Tonawanda, N.Y. died last week on Sunday the 13th. Her funeral was held Wednesday, September 16. Another sister, Mrs. Clarence (Elgi) Durandetto preceded him in death March 1942.
He was never married. His only survivors are nephews and nieces: Mrs. Harold Summerson, North Bend; Mrs. Joseph Blank, Renovo; Mrs. Charles Stringfellow, Elwood Durandetto, both of Tonawanda, N.Y.: Kenneth Durandetto, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Kenneth Bowersox, Selinsgrove; Mrs. Peter Talmon, and Mrs. Lester Walker, Tonawanda, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Bremingen, pastor of the Assemblies of God Gospel Tabernacle, Hammersley Fork will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.

RENOVO- Clement Heaps, 52, who lived with a niece, Mrs. Harold Summerson at North Bend, died Thursday in St. Margaret's Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Heaps had been a patient at Danville State Hospital before being admitted to St. Margaret's. He was a life-long resident of this community.
As a young man, he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, living at that time with his father, Samuel Heaps, at Drurys Run. He had never married.
His parents and two sisters have died: Mrs. Harvey Eaton of Tonawanda, N.Y. on Sept 13 last Sunday; another sister Mrs. Clarence Durandetto, in March of 1942.
Mrs. Joseph Black of this place is another surviving niece.
