ADAM F. BAIRD, AGED 74, DIES AT CHARLESTON HOME
Adam F. Baird, aged 74, a resident of Charleston for several years and father of William Baird, of Bremerton, died yesterday at his home, 855 Hewitt street following a long illness. He was a native of Illinois.
Surviving are his son, William of this city and a daughter, Mrs. C. Kutzner of Bothel.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Lewis chapel with comrades of the G. A. R. officiating. Burial will be made in Ivy Green cemetery.

The 1890 Veterans census indicates that Adam F. Baird enlisted as a Private in Co. I, 66th Illinois Infantry, in February 1863 and was discharged 13 Jul 1865. His length of service was one year six months. he was a resident of Sidney, Kitsap Co., Washington.
