My sister-in-law was the daughter of Raleigh Dewight Jones, Jr. and Living Jones. Her marriages included Living Gray, Gene Allen "Geno" Grissom, Jack Dash, and Philip Pollet.
Our sweet bubbly sister, Linda, has gone home to share her precious smile with the angels above. Linda was a kind and caring person with a big heart. She was an avid rock collector and loved being outdoors. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, camping, and fishing. Throughout her life Linda created many wonderful memories for her family and friends, especially the times she expressed such joy which included her beloved pet puppies and horses. Linda worked hard to make her life better and for those around her. Every conversation with her filled our hearts with a bright light of life and love for everyone. After her stroke two years ago, Linda inspired us with her determination to relearn speech and recover. She spent her spare time calling each of us and these conversations often reminded us of her loving kindness. She had the ability to express herself as if through a child's innocence of unconditional love reborn. She recognized everyday tasks and surrounding beauties that most take for granted as a blessing given to us each day. Linda embraced her challenges with this childlike soul, yet a mature sense that understood a greater purpose for any challenges ahead. Her endearing style invoked a "can do" spirit within us all. Throughout our talks and among every topic Linda shared her refreshing view and passionately exclaimed, "I love my Jesus!" Yes, you did, sweet Linda, and He has always loved you, too. Now you are at glorious home with Him, our sweet Jesus. We will miss you and love you forever.
{I will add more, so much more about her, from others as well, when my heart can handle this better. Angel kisses and hugs to everyone. Hang on to our sweet Linda's endearing ways and let them continue to refresh our own souls by honoring her wonderful memory.}
