Mr. Bergquist was born at Bertrand, March 14, 1887. His father was the first Lutheran minister of Berea Church, between Oshkosh and Chappell.
He was a resident of the Oshkosh-Lewellen area from 1909 until he entered the hospital.
Survivors include his wife Mary of Ogallala; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Tingley of Ogallala, two brothers, Albert and Emanuel, both of Loveland , Colo., and two grandchildren.
