Funeral services for Carl Gossner Bergquist, 79, who died Sunday morning at a Hastings hospital, will be held Tuesday morning, at 10 a.m., in the Draucker, Funeral Chapel with Father W. J. Barnds officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ogallala Cemetery.

Mr. Bergquist was born at Bertrand, March 14, 1887. His father was the first Lutheran minister of Berea Church, between Oshkosh and Chappell.

He was a resident of the Oshkosh-Lewellen area from 1909 until he entered the hospital.

Survivors include his wife Mary of Ogallala; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Tingley of Ogallala, two brothers, Albert and Emanuel, both of Loveland , Colo., and two grandchildren.
